Our Story
What happened to Saturday mornings? When we were younger, all that we looked forward to week after week were our Saturday morning cartoons. We’d get up at the crack of dawn, wearing our best pajamas, fill up a bowl of our favourite cereal, and get lost in characters and worlds for back-to-back 30-minute blocks. They were like a fever dream. Where else could you see a green rabbit that was a space captain, weaponized barnyard animals, or a blue dude with a green mullet that saves the planet?
Fast forward to today and Saturday morning cartoons are long gone, but the memories and the spirit of “Cartoon Saturday” are still with us. Nowadays we’re older, we have more responsibilities, and we work hard from Monday to Friday. But Saturday… Saturday is our day to go back in time. On Saturday, we can do whatever we please: relax, listen to records, read comic books, imagine, draw, play games, eat junk food, and maybe even watch some cartoons.
